Ian G. Sterling

Mr. Sterling is an experienced litigator who represents employees in all areas of employment law, including claims of unlawful harassment, discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964; whistleblower claims; family/medical leave and pregnancy disability leave claims under the FMLA, California Family Rights Act, and California Pregnancy Disability Leave Law; as well as wage and hour claims.

Mr. Sterling received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his Juris Doctor for the University of Illinois College of Law, where he represented homeowners facing foreclosure in the Community Preservation Clinic, successfully mediating a number of cases that allowed homeowners to keep their homes

Prior to attending law school Mr. Sterling worked in Human Resources and Business Development for a technology consulting firm in Washington, DC.
