Pouya Ghodsian — Law Clerk
Mr. Ghodsian is a law clerk at Reisner & King LLP where he assists in all areas of employment litigation including wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, whistleblowing, and claims covered under the California Fair Employment and Housing Act (FEHA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), California Family Rights Act (CFRA), and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA).
Mr. Ghodsian currently attends Loyola Law School and is expected to receive his Juris Doctor in May 2023. Growing up, Mr. Ghodsian volunteered as a mentor to developmentally disabled children. He soon realized the many barriers that exist for those dealing with life events beyond their control, especially the denial of basic rights and opportunities. His involvement with the organization grew over the years and motivated Mr. Ghodsian to pursue a career dedicated to serving others. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from UCLA in 2018, Mr. Ghodsian gained exposure to the legal field through his work as a legal assistant at a Plaintiff’s Employment and Legal Malpractice law firm. His work with the attorneys provided Mr. Ghodsian with the same sense of purpose he had as a volunteer mentor and ultimately confirmed his desire to obtain a law degree. Upon graduating and being admitted to the bar, Mr. Ghodsian hopes to use his degree to make a positive impact for clients that have been unlawfully wronged and placed in a disadvantaged position as a result.
